The 38th annual Fireman's Canoe Race and BBQ was a huge success. This year was our biggest year yet. We would like to thank every one who came out to support the Mammoth Lakes Fire Dept Association and we hope to see all of you next year.

MLFD would like to thank the USFS, Cal-Fire, and other cooperators for their excellent job in controlling the Sherwin Fire. The professionalism and cooperation made for a very successful operation. This should also be a reminder to the community that the threat of fire is real, and we need to be diligent in our preparation.
